Evaluation of CAMS o-suite in the stratosphere by comparison with other systems

o-suite vs e-suite o-suite vs BASCOE

Note

Among trace gases depleting stratospheric ozone, nitrogen oxide (NO) is the most abundant to occur naturally. Its very short lifetime makes direct evaluation very difficult, so we focus instead on the longer-lived family NOx (=NO+NO2). While neither NO nor NO2 are assimilated by BASCOE, it assimilated N2O observations. N2O is the main reservoir of NOx in the stratosphere
